  4. Data

The slideshow creator is part of Plus and Pro. It is not available on Free or Lite.

Steps

  1. Open Slides in the app.
  2. Enter a topic, an outline, or paste your notes.
  3. Choose how many slides you want and generate the deck.
  4. Edit slide titles, bullets and speaker notes. Make every title say the point of the slide.
  5. Present the deck full screen to rehearse.
  6. Export to PowerPoint or PDF.

What each slide has

A title, bullet points, speaker notes, and an image idea. The image ideas are text placeholders, not generated pictures. If you want pictures, add your own or generate images in Create.

Tips

  • Start with the one-sentence point of the whole deck, then work backwards.
  • Group notes into three to five sections.
  • Cut anything a slide needs a paragraph to explain; move detail to speaker notes.
  • Fix facts yourself. A deck is only as accurate as the sources you give it.

Data

Your topic, outline and source text are sent to the model that writes the deck. The finished deck is stored in your account until you delete it. The source file is not kept.

The guide How to turn rough notes into a good slide deck covers the structure of a good deck.
