Keplar sends your question to more than one AI model, compares what they say, and gives you one answer. That means your data moves through more systems than a single chatbot. This page explains which data is involved, where it goes, and the choices you have.
We've written it to be read, not skimmed past. Where a decision is still open, it's marked so you can see exactly what isn't settled yet.
The short version#
- Your prompts and files are sent to the AI model providers Keplar selects for each request. Not every provider, every time.
- Keplar-One compares their responses and synthesizes one answer, which is returned to you.
- Keplar Business customers have separate terms that govern their organization's data.
- You can access, export and delete your data as described in Your rights and choices.
How a request moves through Keplar#
Every question follows the same path. Understanding it makes the rest of this policy easier to follow.

- You. You send a prompt, and optionally files or links, from the Keplar app or API.
- Keplar. Keplar-One classifies the request and decides which models are needed. Simple questions may go to one model; complex ones go to several.
- Selected model providers. Only the providers chosen for that request receive the parts of your request they need to answer it.
- Keplar-One synthesis. Keplar compares the responses, weighs the evidence and reasoning behind each response, investigates disagreements and writes one answer.
- You. You receive the answer along with its consensus, the models consulted, any sources the models cited and disagreements.
Information you provide#
This is information you choose to give Keplar directly. The following sections describe each kind in more detail.

Account information#
To create and run your account, Keplar needs basic details such as your name, email address and how you sign in. If you join through your organization, your administrator may provide some of these details.
Prompts and conversations#
Your prompts, Keplar's answers and the details shown with them (consensus, models consulted, sources, disagreements) are stored so you can return to your threads, search them and continue them.
Don't include information in a prompt that you aren't comfortable sharing with the model providers selected to answer it.
Files and attachments#
When you attach a file, Keplar processes its contents to answer your question. Relevant parts may be sent to the selected model providers.
Usage information#
Keplar records how the service is used so it can work reliably, measure Keplar Compute against your plan and improve the product. This includes features used, request volume, errors and performance data.
Device and connection information#
Like most online services, Keplar receives technical information when you connect, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and operating system.
Payment information#
Subscriptions are processed by a payment provider, which handles your card details. Keplar receives the billing information it needs to manage your plan, such as its status and renewal date.

- To run your account, measure Keplar Compute and process payments.
- To keep Keplar secure, prevent abuse and enforce our Terms.
- To support you when you contact us.
- To understand how Keplar is used and improve it.
- To meet legal obligations.
AI model providers#
Keplar is an intelligence layer above AI models from several providers. For each request, Keplar-One selects the models it needs based on the task, quality, reliability, speed and cost. The selected providers process your request to generate their responses.
Which providers are consulted can change from request to request and over time, as models are added or retired. The Models consulted section of every answer shows which models were used.
Infrastructure and service providers#
Keplar relies on other companies to host the service, store data, process payments, send email and provide support tools. They may process personal data on Keplar's behalf and only as instructed.
How long data is kept#
Keplar keeps data only as long as it's needed for the purposes in this policy, then deletes or anonymizes it. Different kinds of data are kept for different lengths of time.
Security#
Keplar uses technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll tell you if a breach affects your data as the law requires.
Keplar Business and enterprise data#
When your organization uses Keplar Business, its agreement with Keplar governs the content your organization's users submit. Your organization's administrators may be able to access, manage and export that content.

Agent activity#
Agents can keep working after you close the tab. To do that safely, Keplar records what each agent does: the tools it used, the actions it took, approvals requested and granted, and spend against its cap. This record is the audit log you see in the product.
Agents only reach the tools, data and accounts you or your administrator authorize. Credentials you give an agent are kept separate from the models themselves.
International processing#
Keplar and its providers may process data in countries other than the one you live in. Where the law requires it, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.
Your rights and choices#
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can delete individual threads in the app at any time.
Children#
Keplar is not intended for children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children below the minimum age, and we'll delete it if we learn we have.
Changes to this policy#
When this policy changes, the date at the top will change too. If a change is significant, we'll tell you before it takes effect.
