A deck is a communication tool, not a document dumped onto slides. The slideshow creator helps you get from notes to a structure and a first draft quickly, so you can spend your time on the message.
What you provide
- Your topic and the audience.
- The one thing you want them to remember or decide.
- An outline, or source text such as notes or a report.
- Length: how many slides or minutes.
What it produces
A deck with titles, bullets and speaker-style points that you can edit and export as PowerPoint or PDF. Image ideas in the deck are placeholders that you replace. The slideshow creator is available on Plus and above. The topic, outline and any source text are sent to the model that writes the deck, and the finished deck is stored in your account until you delete it. The source file is not kept.
How to get a good deck
- Start from the message, not the topic. "Why we should switch vendors" beats "Vendor review".
- Give the creator your real material; it cannot know your numbers.
- Keep one idea per slide.
- Cut half the words, then cut more.
- Add real images and charts yourself.
- Rehearse once aloud.
What to check before you present
- Every number and name, against your source.
- Claims that sound plausible but that you did not provide.
- Dates, titles and spellings of people and companies.
- That the story holds without the speaker notes.
A simple structure that works
For a ten-minute talk, a reliable shape is: one slide stating the question or problem, one slide with your answer in a sentence, three to five slides of evidence (one point each), one slide on what you want the audience to do, and a final slide with contact details or next steps. Ask the creator to follow that structure and to put the single message in each slide title, so someone reading only the titles can follow the argument. Then spend your time on the evidence slides, where your own numbers and examples matter most.
Where it falls short
Generated decks tend toward generic phrasing and safe structures. They can invent supporting details to fill a slide. The deck is not designed to your brand beyond the style options, and charts must be made with your data. Keplar does not verify the content of the deck against sources.
